A fair exclusively for fashion jewellery produced outside of Japan or non-Japanese licensed brands
As the largest jewellery trade show in Japan for over 20 years, International Jewellery Tokyo (IJT) is at the centre of the whole Japanese jewellery industry attracting almost all the key professional buyers of both fine jewellery and fashion jewellery every year.
IJT 2011 attracted 1,267 exhibitors from all over the world to do business with 35,902 trade buyers on-site.
These many buyers were mainly wholesalers, jewellery stores, department stores, select shops, etc. At their end, there has been much growth in sales of imported fashion jewellery recently, making this a major product category. As a result, there were strong requests from throughout the whole industry for a specialised exhibit zone, realised with the launch of Imported Fashion Jewellery Fair in 2011 which enjoyed great success from its very first edition.
